Can recommend for strolling around
Cozy room, spacious bathroom, with a amazing view of the Urubamba River, made every morning good, and the convenient proximity to the train station allowed for easy exploration of the surrounding area.

Central location and close to the train station. Large bed in twin room with a private safe, a stone fireplace, and tea and coffee making facilities...
Fairly basic breakfast.

We had an excellent stay for our first visit.
Whole place was clean with lovely views; marvellous and incredible location near everything in town. The room was fashionable and quiet with a walk-in shower and a large shower in the separate bathroom. Location: the hotel was close to many restaurants and cafees.

A double room with a breathtaking view over the town which has plentiful restaurants to choose from, had requested this in advance. The staff were best and excellent, helped us with every request.

Had a great time at Hatun Inti Boutique! The view of the Urubamba River from my room was fine. The self-serve coffee was a lifesaver during the chilly nights, but the shower took ages to heat up. Would definitely recommend for a cozy stay!

Very nice location, especially if you get a riverside room. The room was very comfortable and the staff were very helpful. The staff offered to make us breakfast at 4:30 A.M. so we could get an early start.
I think all the hotels in the Machu Picchu area are overpriced. This hotel is in good repair and does not have the musty smell some hotels in this area have. It is not a luxury site, just a well kept place in a unique area.

Staying at the Hatun Inti Boutique was a pleasant experience. The room had a fantastic river view. I appreciated the spaciousness and the very comfortable bed, perfect after a long day of exploring. Having the option for tea and coffee in the room was a good touch, especially during the chilly nights. Breakfast had a variety of seating options with lovely views, although I wish there were a few more choices to pick from. The location was superb, just a short walk from the train station. Staff assistance with luggage was prompt and helpful too. On the downside, the bathroom lacked towel rails, a bit inconvenient to hang up towels. Clearer instructions on using the jacuzzi would be nice. There were a few bugs in the room at night due to lights left on, so some mosquito repellent is advisable.

No heating of any kind in the room, it was cold at night, unbelievable for a 4 star hotel and 280usd per night. Located 10m from railway (yes, you can nearly touch the train if you open the window), and at the very bank of noisy river, it makes sleeping impossible if you don't have ear plugs. Both noise and cold are due to windows that have no seals, you can feel fresh air coming inside all the time. Absolute scandal, avoid !

We stayed here with our large family and loved the beautiful rooms with a jacuzzi tub that added a nice touch. The staff were very good, helping us with our luggage and providing tea and coffee options throughout our stay.
In my wife's opinion, we could've used some blackout curtains for better sleep.

The beds were very comfortable, much better than the ones we had in Cusco, the bathrooms were very modern and clean. We had a great view of the river. Our first day there, we missed breakfast so they gave us a free lunch at the restaurant a few doors down (called TOTO's Restaurant), which had live music and a very good buffett. The next morning we left to walk up to Machu Picchu at 430 and they had a breakfast To-Go box ready for us with plenty of food. We requested a room on the river side (the other side is next to the railroad tracks) and they granted that. Also, we changed the dates of our travel by 2 days and they did not charge us a cancellation fee for the first 2 days, even though we switched rooms the day before.
Stay was overall very good, however we did not have hot water on the second morning of our stay. Although we had set an alarm, we requested a wake up call which we received 30 minutes after our requested time. The room(numero 202) was a little loud - there was a perpetual thumping during the day; we think it was due to the water heater or something.

Good room, great location, try to get rooms to the riverside, good shower, clean room.
They convert the room rates from dollars to soles at their own rate, complete absurd! Besides, room is overpriced, I guess all hotels in Aguas Calientes are.
